Friday-Sunday (and any time we are at/near capacity) we have a 90 minute time/table limit for the cafe and bar area.
No reservation is required to come to our cafe and play games from our shelf. You will need a reservation for a private room, which can be made at this link within 1 hour of an open reservation slot.

Yes
Any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No one under the age of 21 years is allowed at the Tavern after 7pm.

Yes! We have a dog friendly outdoor patio. Your dog must be up to date on their vaccinations and rabies shots, and must be able to prove this if asked. We are unable to accomodate animals inside, so do keep the weather in mind. We are unable to provide water dishes, but can fill yours up if you bring your own!
Service dogs that are trained to assist people with disabilities are permitted on licensed establishments. Please note emotional support animals and pets do not qualify as service animals.

Unfortunately no dogs are allowed in the indoor space except for trained service dogs. The host may ask you what service your dog is trained to provide. Emotional support animals are not allowed indoors at Tavern of Tales.

As per the City of Boston, the only forms of acceptable ID at any establishment serving or selling alcohol are as follows:
A Massachusetts Driver’s License;
A Massachusetts Liquor Identification Card;
A Massachusetts Identification Card;
A Passport Issued by the United States or a government that is officially recognized by the United States;
A Passport Card for a Passport issued by the United States; and
A Military Identification Card.
